As dog parents ourselves, we completely understand the paramount importance of creating a safe environment for our furry friends. This includes having a reliable and trustworthy place to keep your beloved pooch during the hustle and bustle of the workweek, where you can rest assured that they are being well taken care of and are enjoying their time to the fullest!

Requirements

In order to ensure our hotel stays safe for our guests, we have a few requirements set for our furry customers.

Food

In order to maintain your dog's diet consistency, Ruff Rider Retreat requires food for the time amount boarded. Please supply your dog's regular food with clear proportion instructions. If food is not provided, a fee will be charged for our house food for each day missed.

Health

To stay in our hotel, we require proof of vaccination records to provide safety for our guests and staff. Vaccines required are rabies, parvovirus, Bordetella, distemper, and must be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding. Guests over one year old also must be spayed neutered.

Belongings

We supply bedding and bowls for all furry guests. However, feel free to bring any of your dog's belongings such as dog bedding, bowls, and treats. Ruff Rider Retreat will ensure your belongings are used specially for your pet's needs.

Behavior Evaluation

Our first-time guests are required to undergo an evaluation, a crucial step that we have established to ensure a perfect match within our distinctive social atmosphere. This process is designed to safeguard the well-being and comfort of all our guests in the environment we create. We assess each dog's personality, demeanor, and comfort level in playgroups and categorize them accordingly to promote safety.

Every dog is a good dog. Each one has its own unique personality and breed characteristics that we want to harmonize. Our priority is to ensure your dog is joyful and free from stress!
